I am 27 and a musician. I have a BA in Music but feel completely inept at piano while others say I'm brilliant. When compared to other pianists, I'm in great need of improvement, but seem stagnant. I hear people play effortlessly and I can't even play my own stuff without errors and I feel like my ability and compositional style for my songs is beneath the level I should be at, especially as a music major and someone who wants to make this an income source. I just picture myself charging for a show and constantly playing wrong notes and being a joke. I'm incredibly expressive and I've always been told that. I'm also a great vocalist when I put forth the effort and discipline, but while I'm passionate about playing, it can be a mess. This helped relax me a bit and not struggle QUITE as much with the fact that I'm almost 30 and have played since 3 and am not a virtuoso. I needed this so badly, thank you! I am 27 and a musician.
